"Nuremberg 1945. The second-largest city in Bavaria lays in ruins. After almost six years of the Second World War, Germany had surrendered unconditionally on May 8. Adolf Hitler, Germany's infamous dictator committed suicide a month before, leaving his beloved country to fall apart. The Nazi Party no longer impose their notorious violence and corruption, the dictatorship has fallen apart, and the country must rebuild after a war that saw it torn apart. Now Nuremberg, where the Nazi Party once celebrated arrogant rallies, was to become the scene of the party's reckoning before the law. The victorious powers - the USA, the Soviet Union, Great Britain, and France - are setting up an International Military Tribunal for this purpose to serve justice for wars of aggression, mass murders and twelve years of dictatorship. The once seemingly invincible political party was now left in ruins, just a bad memory for Germany society. Justice is going to be served."
A summer night in 1944 in Kokkinia, Kosmas, a black marketeer, is out with his friends before he is arrested by the German patrol. The Germans push him to turn in people from the Resistance, or they will execute him.
Lovrinci, Eastern Croatia, 1991. The sultan then decides to send Karl XII a princess to marry him, to get him out of the country (a bride for a bribe). The two Swedish soldiers Lagercrona and Kruus are to escort the princess. They experience many different adventures on their way to Bender, namely because other Swedish soldiers and agents try to stop them from ever reaching the village, because they don't want Karl XII to leave Turkey. After their long adventure to get there and a few misunderstandings, the famous "kalabalik" of Bender, where the Turks decide to drive Karl XII out of Turkey by force, begins.

(Grace Chang, Cathay's leading musical star at the time, performs some rousing patriotic numbers in these scenes.) Jianbai is reunited with Su in the battlefield, but...

During World War II, a squad of five American soldiers become lost in Tunisia and are killed one by one in fights with German units. Finally only one man, Private Russo, is left, in the midst of a mine field, together with a German officer, locked in a stalemate. Russo has water, while the German claims to have a map revealing the mine positions. So Russo agrees to swap water for the map, but the German officer tries to double-cross him. This was Burt Topper's debut film, made on 16mm on weekends together with some friends in Indio, California. It was also Wally Campo's debut film, as well as script supervisor Joyce King's.
